The date is set for 17th and 18th March respectively. Information gathered has it that it will hit the very center of Winneba township - Copa junction to be precised.


Now to memory lane. Exactly a year ago, an event dubbed "UEW Fashion Week" took center stage at the Assembly Hall of South Campus. The colorful event witnessed great designs of some students and few designers outside the University community. 
The models who were largely up and coming did not disappoint either since they displayed good runway gymnastics amidst power packed performances and comedy.
MC for the night was Desmond Danso Sekyi popularly known as King George of Yolo fame. One can not over look patrons on the night as their outfits showed class, taste and glamour.
In what many taught was a nine day wonder, surprisingly has taken another dimension this year with all indication of an improvement on last year's show.
One thing though which has changed is the brand name - "Winneba Fashion Week" So i caught up with the man behind the event to ascertain why. Prince, as he is called by many but in showbiz, he is called Coxy. Prince, is an Arts student of the University of Education, Winneba and CEO of Coxy Modelling Agency (CMA)
According to him, the name change became necessary because top notch designers and models from Ghana and across Africa will grace the occasion. Notable among them will be FKK from Togo, ASS DOGO from Benin, Aaron designs from Garbon, and Kweku K, Figs Fashion, Adepa Clothing all coming in from Ghana.
He further added that the event has come stay and underscored the need for lovers of fashion in the municipality and its environs to buckle up because the will be rolled out every year.
This year's show will kick start on Friday 17th March with an exhibition and fashion show and end on Saturday 18th March with a runway show. Time for each night is 7 pm.
Honorable Alex Afenyo - Markin, member of parliament for Effutu constituency is tipped to grace the occasion as the distinguished invited guest.

Meanwhile, checks also reveal that patrons are poised to attend this year's Winneba Fashion Show.
