An aborted baby (foetus) was found in the early hours of Saturday 4th February in the dustbin of Alexander Kwapong hall of University of Ghana. According to sources, the fetus was found around 7 am on Saturday the 4th day of February 2017.

According to some students, the aborted baby was found by one level 300 male student of the hall on his way to the gym that morning. The package was left in a sack and dropped in a carton beside the dustbin on the ground floor of the hall.


“The carton was soaked in blood and I was tempted to see what was in it” the eye witness stated.
He immediately drew the attention of the security personnel in the hall who later covered up the foetus.

The fetus appeared very old and the baby fully developed. The matter is however reported to the hall management and the JCR of the hall for further investigation.
Alexander Kwapong hall is one of the first new halls in the diaspora of University of Ghana Campus. It is located between Limann Hall and Elizabeth Sey hall.
